From May 29 to 30, the 8th Moscow Actuarial Forum: «The Forum of the Actuarial Future» took place in Moscow.
The Forum serves as the main platform in Russia for dialogue among actuaries, pension funds, insurers, consulting firms, research organizations, the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation, the Social Fund of Russia, and market stakeholders.
At the forum, issues related to changes in actuarial methodology and the validation of actuarial opinions were discussed, along with key legislative changes and the prospects for the development of the actuarial profession.
This year, Syncretis acted as a partner for the event and presented a report on the topic: «Selection of Distributions for Modeling a Company’s Portfolio Using MathSync Software».
MathSync is a Russian platform for stochastic modeling of economic and financial processes. The platform is a key tool for implementing a risk-oriented approach to managing an insurance company, ensuring reliable financial planning and risk forecasting. Since 2023, the MathSync platform has been implemented in insurance and reinsurance companies. It has replaced imported solutions that ended their collaboration with Russian companies.
